This is a very good mid-range ultrasound machine. It is limited in its versatility, offering only four transducers, but this serves well for its target market. All the probes on the Philips ClearVue 550 have a wide frequency range with very good image quality, which saves you money because you don’t have to purchase extra transducers to cover all the frequencies you need.
