Inc. 5000’s list takes a unique look at some of the most successful companies within the independent small-business segment of the American economy. We’re honored to be recognized on this list as companies like Microsoft, Dell, LinkedIn, Yelp, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000. “Probo Medical has grown from a startup to 140 employees in less than 5 years. We’ve done that through executing on a clear plan, building an awesome team, and embracing the chaos. Today we operate as a platform within a consolidating medical equipment industry.”
The companies featured in this year’s 2019 Inc. 5000 achieved an astounding three-year average growth of 454 percent, and a median rate of 157 percent. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue was $237.7 billion in 2018, accounting for 1,216,308 jobs over the past three years. On average, companies featured in the 2019 list have grown sixfold since 2015, during which period the economy was slow-growing at just 12%. In essence, the companies chosen had to illustrate their ability to rise to the occasion in time of economic stagnation.
