As the season of giving thanks and spreading cheer approaches, we are excited to continue to donate refurbished ultrasound probes and systems to underserved communities around the world. At Probo Medical, our vision is to provide high-quality, reconditioned ultrasound equipment responsibly to hospitals and other qualified facilities globally to improve access to life-saving medical imaging. We have been donating equipment for the past two years and have plans to increase our monthly number of donations over the coming months.
Haitian Doctor with Donated Ultrasound System
Refurbished ultrasound probes and systems are extremely valuable in remote corners of the world where quality healthcare is not easily accessible. Our most recent donations have gone to Togo, West Africa, and to the Dominican Republic of the Congo. We are gearing up to send equipment to Sierra Leone, as well as to Ecuador, Kenya, Zimbabwe and Panama. In all of these areas, healthcare imaging is very difficult to come by so these machines will help to diagnose potentially life-threatening conditions and save many lives.
The holiday season offers many opportunities for donations of time, resources, money and material items. We want to do our part to keep people all over the world as healthy as possible in an era where quality healthcare is not readily available everywhere. By donating as many refurbished ultrasound probes and systems as possible, we hope to help make the holidays brighter in some of the darkest corners of the world.
